Looong time since I updated this site! Because I do a whole professional restart. I build up a new portfolio which will be available at http://mustardamus.com.
Also I have a new project online! http://m3mi.com - a URL shortener service with style and some very useful functions. Just switch over and try it yourself. Feedback always welcome.
Yep, I sold CSSloaf recently, and another nice person will continue it for you. I just wanted to move on to next projects. So stay tuned for other kewl projects ;).
Yeah, 1044 sites listed right now. Unfortunately I hadn’t the time yet to update the site design (some things still left). Much work recently and busy with other projects. Hope I will find the time soon, anyway, the updating riot goes on ;).
CSSloaf.com is now 13 days on-air. For those who mind, here are the great stats so far for that almost 2 weeks: 2184 unique visitors, more than 10000 pageviews, 33 RSS subscribers and 931 sites listed from 35 galleries. Not so bad for a half month, huh? That great stats and some feedback lead to CSSloaf V2! The new improved version (alot more usable, ajax driven, etc) is launched with site number 1000! Stay tuned…
Well, coding was finished pretty fast, and I couldn’t await to put that beast online. As time of writing this gallery features 382 websites from 24 CSS galleries! Counting… have fun with this all in one CSS gallery!
Some small pieces of my CSS gallery are about to get worked on (’Site of the day’, Sidebar), and then it is ready to go online. Saturday I’ll make vacation with my bike in my birthplace, with 6h train travel each I will finish all things. So watch out for the second week of march.
Last weekend was very nice, 15°C in february! That mean’s only one to us, go out and ride. Yesterday I made this little video out of it, starring Timo and me, filming by Rob. Enjoy.
Things working great so far. The backend for my CSS gallery is finished, just some simple clicks are enough to publish kewl CSS websites. Currently the import part of the script features bestwebgallery.com, cssbeauty.com, cssbloom.com, cssmania.com, cssremix.com, cssvault.com, designsnack.com, screenfluent.com and unmatchedstyle.com. That are 95 entries after the first import! Even if the frontend aka webdesign for this gallery isn’t done I start to collect websites. The RSS feed is already done, it show’s the latest 20 entries. From 9 CSS galleries and no duplicates!
Btw, the thumbs for the websites are generated on the fly, means thumbalizr.com provides the images, and the GD library do the rest. To save the bandwidth for this great service the thumbs are stored on my server.
I think the design is done this weekend, so next week the gallery will be online.
